从经验功能角度分析《春望》的六种英译文

Analysis of the Six Translated Versions of the Poem “Spring View”from the Perspective of Experiential Metafunction

对于中国古诗英译的评论,学者们大多是从文学批评和文学翻译的角度出发的。从韩礼德的功能语言学角度出发,对唐代诗人杜甫的《春望》一诗的六种英译文进行经验纯理功能分析,目的是期望在经验功能的理论框架下,通过分析来揭示《春望》一诗译作中存在的一些翻译问题,并以此表明运用语言学理论来评论古诗英译文的可行性。

Most scholars criticize the translation of Chinese ancient poetry from the perspective of literary review or literary translation.However,this paper tries to study the poem 'Spring View' by Du Fu and six of its translated versions from the aspect of Experiential Metafunction in systemic functional linguistics.The underlying purpose of this study is to reflect some exiting problems in the translated versions of the poem 'Spring View' under the theoretical framework of Experiential Metafunction,thus proving the feasibility of applying linguistic theories to criticize the translation of Chinese ancient poetry.
