The Historical Poems in Tang Dynasty from the Perspective of Large History——On the Historical and Cultural Reasons and Connotation of the Poems of the Tang Dynasty

咏史诗是历史和诗歌的结合体,是一种特殊题材的诗歌。咏史诗发展到唐代出现了创作的高潮,有唐一代许多诗人创作过咏史诗。从创作咏史诗的历史文化动因和内涵上看,唐代诗人咏史的主要目的有四:以诗歌为古人作传;站立历史高度以诗论史;借咏史以申志抒情;借鉴历史以讽谏当世。

As a special genre, historical poems are the combination of history and poetry. They were remarkably popular in Tang Dynasty,anda large number of poets in Tang Dynasty created epic poems. From the perspective of the historical and cultural dynamics and connotation, poets of historical poetry in Tang Dynasty had four main purposes: firstly, to make the biography for the ancients; secondly, to comment history withpoems; thirdly, to showambition and express feelings fourthly, to take lessons from history in order to change the current situation.
