走出修昔底德陷阱——关于构建中美新型大国关系的思考

Avoiding the Thucydides Trap in the Building of New Sino-U.S.Relation

新型大国关系的内涵是中国要和平、要平等、要发展,其中要发展是核心。就其性质而言,是中国在与美国实力差距较大的现实情况下主动提出的防御性战略,是韬光养晦外交战略的升级版。时代特征以及中美关系的新特征、中美关系43年来大体和平的历史、已有的对话机制、中美文化的共通性以及中国面对美国时的自信心是构建中美新型大国关系的坚实基础。只有进一步扩大中美共同利益、提升对话机制、拓展合作领域,构建中美新型大国关系才可能最终实现。

The connotation of new-style relationship between major countries is the principle of peace, equality and development, among which the core concept is development. In essence, this is a new manifestation of China 's 'keep modest' strategy, and to some extent this is China's defensive strategy when China is still far behind the U.S. in overall national strength. There is a solid foundation for the new-style relationship between China and U.S., such as features of contemporary age, a generally peaceful Sino-U.S. history, extant dialogue mechanism, similarity in culture and the confidence of China. Through enlarging mutual benefits, perfecting the dialogue mechanism and expanding the scope of cooperation, the building of a new-style Sino-U.S. relation could be achieved.
