演讲作为传达观点和主张的一种有效形式在日常生活中随处可见,伊万卡演讲是为父拉票,在此次演讲中,要达到劝说和宣传自己政治主张的既定目的,首先要与听众建立起恰到好处的人际关系。基于功能语言学的人际功能,从语气、人称、时态和情态等四个方面出发,分析伊万卡·川普的助选演讲,结果表明这四个方面在其与听众的人际关系构建中发挥了重要作用。因此,人际功能的探讨无论是对于演讲者还是听众都具有积极意义。

It is very common that speech is regarded as an effective way to convey a speaker's opinions and what he advocates. In this speech,Ivanka has her own clear goal like other political speeches,that is,she wants to win more support and votes for her father,Donald Trump. Therefore,in order to achieve the pre-determined goal of persuasion and conveying her political claims,she needs to establish a proper relationship with the audience at first. Based on the interpersonal function of Functional Linguistics,this paper has analyzed Ivanka's speech from the perspective of mood,person,tense,and modality system in systemic functional grammar. It is found that these four aspects play an important role in constructing relationship with the audience. Therefore,the discussion of the interpersonal function exerts positive effect on both of the speaker and the audience.
