The Influence of Neoliberalism on the Reform of Higher Education in Japan

20世纪80年代以来,在新自由主义理念的影响下,日本高等教育领域开始进行自由化改革。通过在大学内部采用民营企业的管理机制、运用第三方机构进行绩效评价、进一步建设开放型大学等一系列改革措施,日本大学的办学水平和国际竞争力得以提高,这对我国的大学改革具有一定的借鉴意义。

Since the 1980 s,under the influence of the neoliberal ideology,liberal reform has begun in the field of higher education in Japan. By taking a series of reform measures within the university,including management mechanism of private enterprises,performance evaluation of the third party organizations and further construction of open universities,the educational level and international competitiveness of Japanese universities have been improved,which has certain reference significance for China's university reform.
