CEN Zhong-mian's academic attainments in collating classical and historical works written by people in Tang dynasty had been a focus of academic attention for a long time since him.He set up a shining example of doing scholarly research into classical poetics and literature.In a way,he could be regarded as a model of examining,correcting and sorting out data relating to Tang poetry and essays.
