Qutu Family from Northern Wei Dynasty to Tang Dynasty as Recorded in Notes of Inscriptions on the Tomb Tablets of Qutu Family

作为鲜卑族的一支库莫溪种人的屈突家族,随着政权的更替从东北一路迁徙至关中,经历了从北魏时期崛起到隋唐中后期衰落的近500年的历史,这一家族在唐初屈突通时达到鼎盛。随着社会的变迁,屈突诠的后人失去其族尚武传统,其家族也走向衰落。社会变迁对于一个家族发展产生了重要影响。

The family of Qutu,a clan from Kumoxi ethnic group of Xianbei people,underwent a history of about 500 hundred years from its rise in Northern Wei Dynasty through its peak in the early Tang Dynasty to its fall in the middle of Tang Dynasty and beyond.Over these years,the family moved from Northeast China to Central Shannxi Plain with the replacement of one dynasty by another and with it the warlike spirit of this family declined. As it turns out,social changes have a great influence on a family.
