Lu Xun's Early Literary Thoughts as Exemplified by On Moro Poems

《摩罗诗力说》是鲁迅借摩罗诗人及其创作谈自己文学思想的一篇宏文,其立意是借诗学来系统地谈文学,包括文学与国民性及"立人"的关系,文学创作主体的战斗性和批判性、文学的职能及创作艺术风格,以及他秉持的拿来主义的方法和比较的视野等。《摩罗诗力说》充分体现了鲁迅对文学规律的认识和把握,甚至可以看作鲁迅后来进行文学实践的纲领。

The essay On Moro Poems,one of Lu Xun's early works,was written to express the writer's literary thoughts including that literature is supposed be closely related to the national character,and that writers' fighting spirit and critical attitude should be connected with literary functions and styles. It also embodies Lu Xun's borrowism and comparative perspective,revealing Lu Xun's understanding of literature,which can be regarded as a principle which Lu Xun carried out later in his literary practice.
