China University Teachers' Teaching and Research at Present:Problems and Solutions

大学最基本的活动是教学与科研,教师是大学教学和科研发展的重要推动者。分析中国大学教师的教学与科研不和谐发展的问题及其影响因素,提出促进中国大学教师教学与科研和谐发展的路径:政府和社会改进对大学和教师的管理与评价;加强大学教师分类发展的研究与实践;大学层面改革与完善教师管理与评价制度,努力在教师教学与科研发展之间找到平衡点,促进教师的可持续发展。

The basic tasks of a university revolves around teaching and research which are mainly promoted by the teaching staff. The paper starts with an analysis of the influencing factors on disproportionate development of university teachers' teaching and research and goes on to point out some constructive approaches promoting a balance between the two:1)the management and assessment of universities and university teachers should be improved; 2)the research and practice of the classified development of university teachers should be strengthened; 3)relavant reforms within universities should also be deepened to facilitate a sustainable development.
