“幼童”培养单位模式下的研究生公共英语教学改革

The Reform of Common English Teaching for Postgraduate Students Under the “Question Mark” Teaching Unit Status

摘要 本文基于"经营单位组合分析法",分析了中国研究生公共英语教学正处于"幼童"培养单位的状态及其中存在的问题,并指出"明星"培养单位的学生更符合社会及学生自身发展的需要,据此提出了研究生公共英语教学相关的改革策略:以ESP教学为主要方法,进行合理的分级分类教学和课程设置,建立教师、课堂、校企三维共同体培养模式,完善相关的软硬件设施,提升学生能力,促进研究生的就业竞争优势。 Based on the Boston Consulting Group Matrix(BCG Matrix),this paper analyzes the current situation — the"Question Mark"teaching unit of the common English teaching for postgraduate students in China and the existing problems in the teaching process. This paper points out that postgraduate students of the"Star"teaching unit are more suitable for the needs of the social development and students' own development. In view of these,the paper proposes three strategies for reform accordingly,including the rational graded and classified teaching,the novel course design on English for Special Purposes(ESP),the building of 3 D integrated community of teachers,classes and school-enterprises,and the improvement of the related hardware and software facilities.
