美国联邦摩托车排放标准于1977年发布,基本保持至今仍有效。加州标准在不断地加严,1999年CAIRB发布了公路Ⅲ类摩托车标准。按目前联邦及加州标准公路摩托车仅需采用一些低水平的控制技术,而按加州CARB标准将要求一些附加的技术。EPA正在考虑与加州标准最终一致,1998年EPA同意追随与正在酝酿中的国际机动车法规协调一致。EPA积极参与国际摩托车试验循环方案。联邦及加州都发布了最新的车辆排放模型版本,新生代的模型正在发展形成之中。
The motorcycles emission standard of U.S.was issued in 1997,so far it basically remains effective.California with its emission getting more stringent issued its CategoryⅢ highway motorcycle standard of CARB in 1999. According to the standards of Union and California the highway motorcycles are only requested to adopt some low-level control techniques,while in the light of CARB standards of California some additional techniques are demanded .The EPA is preparing to bring its standards in line with those of California finally.In 1998 EPA agreed that its regulations for motor vehicles could be in line with the international ones .EPA actively participates in the drawing-up of the international test cycle workplan.U.A.and California have recently promulgated the latest editions for motorcycle emission mod-els,and the new generation of models is under development.
