"绿色大学"的建设是时代赋予大学的新的历史使命,对建设生态文明和承担应对全球气候变化的国家责任和国际义务,具有十分重要的现实意义和长远的战略意义。本文从绿色大学的内涵、国内绿色大学建设概况出发,以北京师范大学为例,简述了其建设绿色大学的思路、目标、规划、探索与效果,并提出了将要面临的挑战。

'Green University' is a historical calling for this era and bearing significant meanings for ecological civilization, global climate change and national responsibilities and obligations. Starting with the implications and Green University mission and the introduction on its development in China, taking Beijing Normal University as an example, the article discusses the strategies, goals, planning, exploration and results of green university, as well as anticipates its future challenges.
