蒙古族妇女的传统道德观念是指蒙古族妇女在社会实践中所形成的观点、信念的精神成果,是维护社会道德风气和道德关系的心理特征。其内容大致可归纳为勇敢顽强精神、自主平等意识和敬老爱幼、团结助人美德。在其形成过程中,不断自我完善,不断吸收外来文化的内容,具备了内在激励功能和外在调解功能,在现代社会里仍具有积极作用。

The traditional moral concept of Mongolian women refers to the spiritual achievements of the perception and belief formed in the social practice and it is the psychological feature upholding the social moral mood and relationship. It contains the spirit of bravity, obstinacy, independence, equality and the morality of respecting the old, loving the young, unifying and helping others. Its forming process is a process of continuous self - improvement and absorbing of the content of foreign culture. It has the function of inner encouragement and outer adjustment. Therefore, it still has very active function in the modern society.
