西方文学课程在大学生美育的困境及对策

Predicaments and Countermeasures of Western Literature Course in the College Aesthetic Education to College Students

高校开设西方文学课程,既是汉语言文学专业和英语专业学生的必修课,也可以作为其它学科专业学生的选修课,是高校大学生美育工程的重要环节。然而,在调查中发现,高校大部分学生在选择修学分的课程时,都把获取生存技能的课程作为主要修、选学分的重要目标,片面强调技能是毕业后找到满意工作的主要因素,而对于西方文学课程在提高自身综合素质的美育作用几乎忽略不计。因此,西方文学教学应从调整教学内容、丰富教学手段、改变评价模式等方面加以改革,以提升西方文学课程在高校大学生美育中的效能作用。

As a compulsory course for the students majoring in English and in Chinese language and literature,or an optional course for the other majors,the course titled Western Literature is an important approach to college aesthetic education.However,it is found in a survey that when choosing a credit course,students tend to choose the ones that provide survival skills.Their one-sided emphasis on the skill to find a good job makes them pay little attention to the aesthetic role of improving their comprehensive quality through Western Literature Course.In view of this,this paper makes analysis on the problems arising from the aesthetic education to the college students in the instruction process of Western Literature Course as well as explores the important function of Western Literature Course on college aesthetic education by adjusting the teaching content,enriching the teaching methods and reforming the evaluation models.
