摘要
学术界有一种观点认为,在全球化的时代,"以西释中"是中国美学的必然选择,是无法取代的最好的研究方法。这一观点是以西方美学为标准和学术范式,它忽视了美学研究中的文化认同与文化选择的重要性;它所坚持的跨文化的中西比较美学研究的立场也是以西方文化为强势一方,强调这种文化影响下的文化与美学的趋同性,忽视了中国传统文化和美学的研究视域对于中国现代美学发展进程的意义。这种观点还认为中国传统美学理论与范畴不能解释当下的美学现象与实践,所以成为过时的东西。而在我们看来,中国传统美学的研究,不仅有助于解释当下的美学现象与实践,而且也有助于寻求几千年来人们审美与艺术经验的共识。中国传统美学重视艺术实践,重视审美对于人的精神境界的提升,这些对于中国美学的发展有着重要的精神引领和推动作用。
It is argued that it is an inevitable,optimal choice for Chinese aesthetics studies to adopt Western aesthetic concepts and approaches in the globalized world.However,this point of view is based on Western aesthetics and its academic paradigm,which has overlooked the importance of cultural recognition and cultural selection in aesthetic research.It also exists in the comparative studies that it tends to neglect the significance of traditional Chinese culture and its research horizon of aesthetics on the development of contemporary Chinese aesthetics,which emphasizes the convergence of culture and aesthetics under the powerful influence of Western culture.Furthermore,this point also presupposes that it is consequently outdated because traditional Chinese aesthetic theory and categories become inadequate for explaining the current aesthetic phenomenon and practices.Nevertheless,in my opinion,the researches on traditional Chinese aesthetics not only help to interpret the current aesthetic phenomenon and practices,but also contribute to the formation of consensus on aesthetics and artistic experiences that have existed for thousands of years.Therefore,traditional Chinese aesthetics would play an important role on leading and promoting Chinese aesthetics for its concern on artistic practices and the benefit to people's mental worlds.
