3岁以下小儿的急性腹泻发病率较高,我们于1983年6月至12月对上海地区0—3岁急性腹泻患儿的病原学进行了调查研究。
Stool specimens were collected withinh 72 hours after the onset of acute diarrhea from 213 sick children at the age of 0—36 months and from 144 control children of the same age and sex. The detectable rate of enteric Pathogens was 62.9% in the diarrhea children and 18.1% in the control group. 127 strains of enteropathogenic bacteria were isolated from diarrhea patients, of which, Bacillus dysenteriae accounted for 22.53% Campylobacter fetus, jejuni. 14.55%; ETEC, 7.98% Aeromonas, 6.10% and Salmonella 4.7%. ETEC, Vibrio parahemolyticus and Yersinia were not found. Two thirds of Shigella strains were Shigella sonnei. Eight of the 17 strains of ETEC produced ST, 7 Strains produced both LT and ST and the other 2 strains, LT Only. An epidemic outbreak of ETEC ST diarrhea occurred in the neonatal wards of 2 hospitals in Shanghai in January, 1984. It Seems that ETEC might be one of the important etiologic organisms of acute diarrhea in this city. Aero—monas was isolated from 13 Patients, Of whom, only 3 cases were pure aeromonas in fection its etiological role remained to be determined. Thirty three strains of virus were isolated from the diseased children:29 strains of Rotavirus, 5 strains of small round virus and 2 Strains of Adenovirus.
