On Mar.08,2018,General Secretary Xi Jinping attended the discussion by Shandong delegation in the first session of the 13th National People’s Congress and expected Shandong to make continuous efforts in the process of building a moderately prosperous society and pioneer in the new journey of the Socialist modernization drive,pointing the way of development for Shandong and Yantai and providing fundamental guidance and strong driving forces.For over a year,Yantai remembers the instructions of the General Secretary and makes in-depth studies and implementation of Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,sparing no efforts to embark on the new journey of accelerating the construction of a city strong in the manufacturing industry and marine economy and modernized international coastal city suitable for working,living and traveling to ensure that the important directions and requirements by the General Secretary and the major decisions and deployment by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China can take root in Yantai and blossom and yield fruits.
