今年年初,在烟台市文化和旅游服务群众需求征集机制和首届烟台市民文化节新闻发布会上,烟台市文化和旅游局负责人说,举办首届市民文化节是基于问题导向,回应市民精神文化需求,有效解决文化活动参与力量不强、活动氛围不浓、持续时间不长和服务供给不足等问题而决定举办的。举办市民文化节既是对烟台文化建设的一次自觉考验和重大检阅,也是一次全市文化建设的有益尝试和对城市文化景观的有益探索。

Strengthening a city with culture requires the support of the cultural undertaking.The main function of the public cultural undertaking is to provide society with spiritual goods to meet people’s varied demands of cultural life and safeguard their fundamental cultural rights.It is an important measure of Yantai Municipal Government and units of cultural undertaking to continuously consolidate the construction of modern public cultural service system.Sticking to the mechanism of“guidance by the government,participation by society,support from all and benefit for the populace,”Yantai Citizens Cultural Festival constructs an exhibiting platform for citizen culture and guides citizens to broadly participate and provide support.Only when the city cultural undertaking is continuously developed in prosperity and the cultural soft power of the city is improved can the construction of a culturally strong city be enhanced.
