疟疾是严重危害人类生命和健康的疾病,被列为全球最致命的3种传染病之一。因此,科学家们一直致力于研究发现各类有效的抗疟药,从金鸡纳树皮中提取的奎宁、氯喹,抗叶酸类药物和青蒿素及其衍生物,都在治疗疟疾方面发挥了巨大的作用。本文主要对上述抗疟药物的研究现状与发展趋势做一综述。

Malaria is a disease that seriously harms human life and health.It is listed as one of the three most deadly infectious diseases in the world.Therefore,scientists have been devoted to the study of various kinds of effective antimalarial drugs.Quinine and chloroquine which are extracted from the bark of cinchona,anti-folate drugs,and artemisinin and its derivatives,have played a significant role in the treatment of malaria.Thia article reviewd the research status and development of the above-mentioned antimalarial drugs.
