Globalization,Nation State and Global Citizen Society:A Study of Habermas’ Thoughts of International Politics

哈贝马斯是德国当代著名哲学家和社会学家 ,被誉为“法兰克福学派第二代领袖”和“西方学界的领军人物”。他的学术研究范围很广 ,其中也包括国际政治学。他将哲学、社会学、政治学、法学和伦理学等广泛运用于国际政治理论研究。对于国际政治学的一些重要问题 ,如民族主义的积极意义和危害性、全球化对民族国家的挑战、改革联合国与修订国际法、建构全球公共领域、创立世界公民社会等 ,他都有自己非常独到的见解。

Jürgen Habermas is a famous contemporary German philosopher and sociologist known as “second generation leader of Frankfort School” and “leading scholar in western academics”. His studies cover a wide range of areas that include the theories of international politics. He applies philosophy, sociology, political science, jurisprudence and ethics to the studies. He has his own ideas on the positive aspects and the danger of Nationalism, the challenge of globalization to nation state, the reform of UN, the revision of international law, the construction of global public area, and the establishment of global civil society. This paper summarizes Habermas’ international politics studies as well as their influences.
