摘要
任务型教学是以"做中学"为核心理念,以完成目标任务为导向的教学方法。本文作者采用实验研究方法,运用SPSS软件对实验组和对照组学生的实验前分班成绩和实验后大学英语四级成绩差异分别进行T检验,以比较任务型教学和传统教学在培养学生综合英语能力方面的差异。实验表明:任务型教学在提高学生英语综合水平方面明显优于传统教学,实验组四级平均成绩高于对照组近10分。因而,这种教学模式比传统方式更有利于财经应用创新人才英语能力的培养。
Task-based Instruction has been increasingly adopted in English teaching in China over the last decade. This paper is to investigate the effectiveness of task-based instruction in improving students' comprehensive English proficiency by comparing it with the conventional approach to English teaching. To do so,it adopted a quasi-experimental pretest-posttestdesign with experimental group and control group randomly chosen at the beginning of the experiment. The results show that the experimental group with task-based instruction performed significantly better than the control group with the conventional approach. Thus,this approach to English teaching is strongly recommended in cultivating innovative professionals in the business and financial world.
