Objective To explore and analyze the feasibility of target controlled intravenous anesthesia with propofol and remifentanil in reduction of nasal bone fracture. Methods 52 patients with nasal bone fracture reduction were selected as the subjects of this study. All 52 patients were given target controlled intravenous anesthesia with propofol and remifentanil, and the changes of blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate and pulse oxygen saturation(SpO2)were observed in different time periods.Recovery after anaesthesia. Results There were significant differences in respiration rate and pulse oximetry between anaesthesia induction and anaesthesia induction(P<0.05).The time of anesthesia is fast and the time of awakening is fast. Conclusions target-controlled intravenous anesthesia with propofol and remifentanil is feasible for nasal bone fracture reduction.
