Theoretical Basis and Application of Dog Day Paste Under Preventive Treatment of Disease in TCM

三伏贴是《黄帝内经》(以下简称《内经》)中"春夏养阳""长夏胜冬"等理论发展起来的中医治未病思想,运用中医学"天人相应"的整体观念、阴阳五行学说和顺应季节变化进行养生防病的传统疗法。三伏贴主要针对好发于冬季或者于冬季加重的某些虚寒性病证,借助一年中人体阳气最鼎盛的三伏天,于特定穴位施予药物敷贴以温阳驱寒、调和阴阳,达到预防和治疗疾病的作用。现从三伏贴疗法的理论来源(三伏贴的时间依据及中医治未病、冬病夏治与三伏贴的关系)和临床应用(选穴原则、药物选择、皮肤反应、注意事项)进行阐述,以期对三伏贴的临床应用和科学研究起到一定的指导作用。

The dog day paste is derived from'strengthen yang in spring and summer','changxia restrains winter'theories in'the Inner Canon of Huangdi'developed the thought under the preventive treatment of disease in TCM,applys the theory of relevant adaptation of the human body to natural environment,theory of Yin-yang and five elements and conforms to the seasonal changes in keeping health of modern therapy to treat diseases.The dog day paste is mainly aimed at some diseases of deficiency cold in winter.Using the most vigorous dog days of the human body Yang in a year,apply the medicine to the corresponding acupoints to warm Yang and disperse cold,regulate Yin and Yang,and prevent and treat diseases.From the sources of theory of dog day paste therapy(the time basis of dog days,the relationship between the preventive treatment of disease,winter disease summer rule and dog day paste)and clinical application(acupoints selection principle,drug selection,skin reactions,precautions),we hope that it plays a guiding role in the clinical application and scientific research on the dog day paste.
