A Study on the Application of Translation Techniques and Methods in Contemporary Literary Works

翻译是不同语言的民族之间交流思想、进行交往的一种手段,是一种语言活动。理想的翻译应该是一门艺术,译者必须先掌握一种语言所表达的思想、感情和风格,然后运用一定的翻译技巧,用另一种语言把它们表达出来。本文就当代文学翻译中的一些技巧作部分归类,认为除了要忠实原著内容,还要尽力体现原作风格,使读者能从译文中领略到原著的艺术特色。

Translation is a kind of means of communication between different languages. It is a kind of language activity. The ideal translation should be an art,and the translator must first master the thoughts,feelings and styles expressed by a language,and then use certain translation skills,with another language to express them. In this paper,some techniques about literary translation are as part tooe classificated,to illustrate that the translation of contemporary literature in addition to being faithful to the original content,still needs to try to embody the style of the original work,so that readers can appreciate from the translation of the artistic features of the original work.
