美国社区学院能够发展成为美国教育的一大特色,政府的强有力推动是功不可没的。美国社区学院的发展,政府是一个政策制定者,经费资助者,职业技术标准引导者和校企共治推动者。目前我国高等职业教育发展遇到的诸多问题,亟需政府转变职能,从顶层设计、政策制定、校企合作等方面推动其发展。

Community colleges developing a major feature of American education in the United States is attributed to the government's strong push. The government is the policy maker,funder,guider of the vocational technology standards,and the driver of school- enterprise cooperation during the development community colleges. At present,many problems encountered in the development of China's higher vocational education,which needs the government to change functions,and to promote the higher vocational development from the top- level design,policy formulation,and school- enterprise cooperation.
