This paper analyzes the work content of head teachers in secondary vocational schools,and points out the importance of the role orientation of head teachers in secondary vocational schools. The location of head teachers in secondary vocational schools is the leading role for students ' happiness,the guide of the growth of students,the strategizing artists and students ' life planners. Practice shows that role orientation can designate direction of the work of head teachers in secondary vocational schools.
