The rise of Frontier Anthropology has greatly promoted the development of frontier theory research.From the perspective of anthropology,frontier studies have distinct disciplinary features and time features and frontier concepts from political,cultural and social perspectives complement each other.Political frontier theory describes the differences and permeability of border areas,cultural frontier theory interprets border areas from the perspective and imagination of the local people,and social frontier theory discovers and describes the local practice and knowledge of border areas.The three approaches are closely linked,forming a colorful frontier landscape.
