Gastrodin is one of the active ingredients of traditional Chinese medicine Gastrodiae Rhizoma,with sedative and hypnotic effect and other therapeutic pharmacologicaleffects.The recentprogresses on pharmacolo-gicalactivities of Gastrodinwere summarized in order to provide references for further study and development.
