Objective:To investigate the efficacy and safety of radix bupleuri oral liquid in the treatment of low fever in children.Methods:48 children with low fever admitted to our hospital from May 2016 to May 2018 were selected and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,24 cases each. The children in the control group were given cefuroxime sodium for injection(50~100 mg/kg,intravenous infusion twice in the morning and evening),and the children in the observation group were given radix bupleuri oral liquid(10 mL,po,3~4 times a day). The clinical efficacy,TCM symptom scores and safety were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate in the observation group(87.50%)was signi?cantly higher than that in the control group(79.17%),and the difference was statistically signi?cant(P<0.05).There was no statistically signi?cant difference in TCM symptom scores before treatment between the two groups(P>0.05).The scores of TCM symptoms in the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment, and the scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with statistically signi?cant differences(P<0.05).There were no obvious adverse reactions in the two group. Conclusion:The radix bupleuri oral liquid is ideal in the treatment of low fever in children, which can reduce TCM symptom scores, and is safe and reliable.
