英语专业学生写作句法复杂性发展的对比研究

摘要 文章以年级为分组依据,横向考察了英语专业学生写作中句法复杂性的变化特点。句法复杂性指标分为两类,即单位长度(T单位长度、子句长度)和子句密度(T单位复杂性比率、从属句比率)。研究结果表明:学习者的长度指标随年级呈线性增长,在四年级达到峰值;密度指标随年级同样呈增长趋势,只是T单位复杂性比率在三至四年级间略有下降。与本族语者对比后发现,长度指标发展迅速,能够达到英语本族学生的水平;但密度指标发展明显滞后,与英语本族学生存在较大差距。
