This paper has discussed the working principles of rolling-box grader in grain processing mills : such as the conditions of instant leaving and the leaving after sliding motion, from the inner wall, of the grain particles coming out of the inner-wall hollows of the rolling box, as well as the conditions of the nonleaving of the grain particles outside the hollows.Finally mention has been made of the optimum range of the angular velocity of the rolling-box for securing the "leaving" of the grains coming out of the wall-hollows and at the same time the "nonleaving" of the grains outside the hollows.
