Construct the Scientific Architecture of War Gaming and Simulation to Face the Challenge of New Revolution in Military Affairs

新的军事变革需要对作战模拟重新思考。本文提出构建科学的战争模拟体系,用“战争模拟”来取代“作战模拟”,可以更好地反映未来信息化战争的特点。并针对战争模拟的特点和发展,提出并探讨了关于发挥虚拟实践在军事理论研究中的作用、正确进行战争模拟分类和避免误用,加强新的战争模拟理论研究,加大模拟系统的创新等问题。

The new Revolution in Military Affairs requires the reconsideration about warfare simulation. Indicated by the substitution of War Gaming and Simulation for Warfare Simulation, a scientific architecture of War Gaming and Simulation was presented in this paper to characterize the information age war in the future. In allusion to the characteristic and development of the War Gaming and Simulation, more issues are presented and discussed, such as facilitating the military theory research with virtual practice, classifying War Gaming and Simulation reasonably and avoiding misapplication, enhancing the research of the new theory about War Gaming and Simulation, accelerating the innovation in the simulation system, and so forth.
