The Diet of Japan

日本国国会是日本国唯一的立法机关。它由众议院和参议院组成,两院均由民选的议员组成。议员受国民的信托享有一定的权力。国会由内阁召集,众参两院各自召开其全体会议和委员会会议。国会意志的成立须经众参两院的一致决议。

The Diet is the unique legislative body of Japan.The Diet of Japan consists of the senate and the House of Representatives. The Diet is convened by the cabinet. The senate and the House of Representatives hold plenary sessions and commissions respectively. The establishment of the Diet's volition should be adopted unanimously by the senate and the House of Representatives.
