试评清代云南回民起义中的马德新

Some Comments on Ma Dexin in Yunnan Uprising of Hui Nationality in Qing Dynasty

马德新是我国清代一位著名的回族伊斯兰学者和经师 ,他在回回理学和回族经堂教育方面均做出过重要贡献。然而 ,由于他在清代云南回民起义中的一段特殊经历 ,却为如何评价这位民族历史人物带来了极大的困难。本文通过查阅大量史料 ,对马德新在云南回民起义中的作为进行了系统的考证 ,并以此为基础对他在云南回民起义中的行为表现进行了新的评价。

Ma Dexin,a famous Moslem scholar,made great contributions to the religious theory of Hui nationality and its education.However,his special experience in Hui uprising brought difficulties in commenting him.This paper,through consulting a large number of historical materials,made the textual research on his role in the uprising,and finally made some new comments on his conducts in the uprising.
