Researches into Ethnic Group Transference in Southwest Hubei

鄂西南地区特殊的地理位置决定了该地区的族群流动历来十分频繁。文章认为,该地区的族群流动分6个历史阶段进行,每个阶段皆有其各自不同的特征。长期而频繁的族群流动,对该地区的民族形成、发展,以及民族结构、民族分布、民族关系都有不同程度的历史影响。

The special location of Southwest Hubei determines the frequent ethnic group transference in these areas. It is pointed out in this paper that the ethnic group transference in this region can be divided into six historical phases and each phase presents different characteristics. The long-term and frequent ethnic group transferences exert certain influences upon the formation and development of the nationalities, and the composition and distribution of nationalities.
