本文从西部地区人口增长速度较快导致人口占全国比重不断增大、教育事业发展缓慢影响人口素质的提高、人力资源结构矛盾加剧了人力资源开发与利用的低效率以及城镇化发展速度低下阻碍农业剩余劳动力转移等方面,对西部地区的人力资源现状进行了分析,以期对人力资源开发有所裨益。
