翻译话语中的性别问题浅探

Sexual Discrimination in Translation Discourse

描述作者与译者关系和翻译过程的性别隐喻以及译者对译语词汇的选用等都存在性别歧视.文章运用当代文论和翻译理论,对男性/女性、作者/译者的关系以及忠实的概念进行了新的阐释,并指出,语言只是对现实的反映,要消除性别歧视,需经过长期的努力,消除人们对译者和女性的偏见.

Sexual discrimination exists in the gender metaphoric description of author-translator relationship and the translation process as well as in the choice of target language words. This paper applies modern literary and translation theories to a new interpretation of the author/translator and man/woman relations as well as the notion of fidelity. The author points out that language but reflects the reality and, to eliminate sexual discrimination, prolonged efforts need to be made to rid people of their bias towards translators and women.
