British & American cultural psychology mainly lies in novelty, euphemism, originality, simplicity and is characterized by being straight-forward, actively participant and self-affirmative. Much emphasis is also laid on individuality, quality and competition. Such a remarkable cultural psychology is directly and vividly reflected in English vocabulary and, just as a result of this, English vocabulary is, on the whole, unique and original.
