闽台民间信仰与两岸关系的互动

Fujian-Taiwan Folk Faith and Cross-Straits Interaction

闽台民间信仰在形成和发展的过程中 ,存在着十分密切的互动关系 ,主要表现形式是福建民间信仰通过分灵、分香、漂流等途经传播台湾后 ,台湾分灵庙则定期到福建祖庙进香谒祖。改革开放以来 ,闽台民间信仰的交流有了新的发展 ,除了成千上万的台湾信众前来福建祖庙进香谒祖外 ,福建祖庙的主神也应邀频繁赴台湾巡游 ,接受信徒的顶礼膜拜。自古以来 ,闽台民间信仰在两岸关系的发展中发挥着桥梁和纽带的重要作用 ,还有力地推动当今海峡两岸政治的改善和经济的交流。

It is clear that cross-Straits interaction is closely related to the formation and development of folk faith in Fujian and Taiwan.Fujian folk faith was spread to Taiwan by Fenling,Fenxiang and Piaoliu (people from Taiwan got the statues of deities or incense ash from Fujian or from the boats floating to Taiwan and then worship these deities in the island).Consequently disciples from subordinate temples in Taiwan make regular pilgrim trips to visit the master temples in Fujian.What is more, they often borrow the master statues of deities and carry them back to Taiwan so that more disciples can worship these deities.Ever since ancient times, Fujian-Taiwan folk faith has not only played an important role of bridge and tache in the development of cross-Straits relations but also helped improve the cross-Straits political relation and promote the development of economy in Taiwan and the Mainland.
