In the study of Chinese literature across the world, the researchers have been nagged all along by its designation, collection of historical data and poetics, while the new immigrant literature has become a new hot spot of study in recent years. All these issues have a bearing on the legality, rationality and sustainability of this discipline, all of which are covered in the discussion of this paper.
