Sa Du La-A Hui Poet and Taoism in the Yuan Dynasty

元代萨都剌《雁门集》中保存有数十首涉道诗，是萨都刺寻访江南道教的历史记录。萨都剌作为东来的回回人，注意了解中国传统的儒释道文化。他足迹遍及江南道教名山宫观，与道门人士结为方外之友，这反映出在多元一体的中国社会中，不同民族宗教间的对话与交流。

Sa Du La, a Hui poet, who came to China during the Yuan Dynasty. In his collected poem-The Yanmen (The Wild Geese Gate), there are several decades of poems that were written by the poet to other Taoists. In fact, they recorded Sa Du La's investigating the Taoism in the southern areas to the Yangtze River at that time. Sa Du La paid much attention to the Chinese traditional culture-the Taoism. He visited all the famous Taoist's mountains and temples and many Taoist priests became his friends that were away from the turmoil of the world. Therefore, Sa Du La's activities could be looked on as the example of the interaction among the nationalities with different religions in China's society-an organic whole with pluralistic concept indeed.
