“三个代表”重要思想是新时期公安工作的根本指导思想。在新时期公安工作中 ,公安科学技术是第一警力 ,是公安战斗力 ;“严格执法 ,热情服务”是新时期先进文化在公安工作中的具体体现 ;全心全意为人民服务是公安工作和公安机关人民警察的根本宗旨。公安机关要努力实践“三个代表” ,就是要全力维护社会稳定 ,服从和服务于经济发展 ;要正确处理新形势下的人民内部矛盾 ;要严厉打击各种严重刑事犯罪 ,实现社会长治久安 ;要不断深化公安工作改革步伐 。

The important thought of “the Three Represents” is the guiding thought for public security work in the new times.In the work of public security in the new age,the scientific technology of public security is the first police strength and fight capacity;“strictly implement law and warmly serve the people” is the concrete reflection of the advanced culture in the wo rk of public security;Serving the people whole heartedly is the cardinal target fo r the work of security and the peoples police.The institutions of public secur ity should make every effort to implement “the Three Represents”,try their bes t to keep social stability,obey and serve the economic development;correctly dea l with the inner contradiction of the people;seriously attack on all kinds of cr imes so as to realize lasting political stability of society;constantly deepen r eform of public security work and establish of operating system of public securi ty work which is suited to the development of security situation.
