摘要
组织管理的理论家们从社会工程的理想出发 ,不断地设计和推广各种管理工具、诀窍和技能 ,以造就高效能的组织。然而 ,管理科学的发展过程表明了理性的组织管理原则不能完全适应组织行为的不可预测性。本文从组织构成的本质出发 ,认为意义系统是维系组织行为模式的条件 ,也是组织形成、发展和改变的核心要素。本文讨论了意义系统管理的内涵和手段 ,以及对组织管理和发展的意义和作用。
Management scholars, based on the ideal of social engineering, continuously design and promote all kinds of management tools, knacks and skills in order to create highly efficient organizations. Evidence, however, proves that these management principles and tools are inadequate in responding to the unpredictability of organizational behavior. In view of the nature of organizational structure, this paper believes that the meaning system is the key to maintaining organizational behavior and the core element for the organization's formation, development and change. The paper discusses the concept and approach of meaning management and its significance to and application in the management and development of an organization.
