就自改革开放以来汉语中出现的大量新词语的英译及其翻译的标准、方法进行了广泛而深入地探讨 ,同时还分析了具体翻译过程中的两种错误倾向 ,以便实现英译汉语新词语的时代同步性和准确性。

This paper mainly discusses the translation, the translation criteria and methods of the words and expressions newly born since China's opening up to the outside world. It also analyzes in details two incorrect tendencies frequently found in translating practice. By doing so, a harmonious combination of modernity and accuracy in the C-E translation of these new words and expressions can be achieved.
