世纪之交的风云变幻影响着海峡两岸关系的发展和台湾问题的解决。中国共产党站在时代的高度,与时俱进,不断调整对台具体政策和策略,以新的思路顺应时势的变迁:香港、澳门的顺利回归,中共对台湾实施“一国两制”比港澳更宽松;台湾政党更替,中共把民进党内顽固“台独”分子与广大民进党员区分开来,以更加务实的态度对应之;两岸先后加入世界贸易组织,中共不以政治分歧去影响、干扰两岸经济合作。中共对台具体政策和策略的不断调整,推动和引导着两岸关系向健康、有利的方向发展。

Various changes at the turn of the new century influence the development of cross - straits' relations and the resolution of the Taiwan Question. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) highly keeps pace with times and continuosly adjusts sperific policy and strategy toward Taiwan, complying with current vicissitude in a new way of thinking : After Hongkong and Macaw's smooth return to the motherland, the CCP continues to carry out 'one country, two systems' more loosely ; In spite of political partise alternation in Taiwan, the CCP maintains more practical atttude towards obstinate ' taiwan - independence' advocators who are going to be alistinguished from the others ; Although they both had entered WTO successively, the CCP is irreluctant to infuence and interfere cross-straits' economic cooperation for political differences. The CCP in bound continuously adjusts the concrest policy and strategy towards Taiwan, which will promote and guide the development of cross - straits' relation in a healthy and advantageous way.
