摘要
《周易》中提出的"文"的概念,它大体上有三个方面的内涵:一为"文明",二为"文化",三为"文饰"。"文明"在《周易》中以"山下有火"的形象出现,说明中华文明在起源上是重"象"的,这与西方文明重"言"有所区别。"文化"重在"化","化"在中华美学中表达了主客统一所达到的"和谐"与"圆融"的境界。"文饰"说明中华美学是重视外在表现的,但这个修饰必须是真实的,而不是虚假的。修饰的最高境界是无饰,也就是"自然"。
The concept of Figure, which has a meaning of three aspects: civilization, culture and adorning, was first brought forward in The Book of Change. There is an image of 'fires at the foot of a hill' in the book, which indicate that image has original significance in Chinese civilization as logos in western one. Chinese culture also thinks highly of harmoniousness, which clears up the division of subject and object. Also, the concept of adorning indicates that Chinese aesthetics values the decoration, which must be real. The highest realm of decoration is no decoration, that is what we call 'naturalness'
