诚信不仅是道德的一个基本范畴,而且也是普遍存在于社会的经济、政治生活之中的一个重要范畴。现代社会诚信缺失现象的原因是复杂的,多方面的。解决诚信缺失问题,应从思想、经济、政治三个方面同时采取积极治理措施,建立健全与社会主义市场经济相适应的现代社会诚信机制和信用体系。

Honesty and credit are not only basic moral categories but also important categories commonly existing in the social economic and political lives.The reasons for lack of honesty and credit in the modern society are complex and manifold.To find a solution to the problem,we should adopt active measures in ideology,economy and politics and set up and amplify honesty mechanism and credit system that are fit for the socialist market economy.
