A Study of Zhao Shuli ' s Novels

本文从赵树理的早期作品着眼,梳理其小说写作在农民问题和知识分子问题上的某种走向。并从“典型化”的角度,呈现出在和主流意识形态及农民意识两方面都保持紧张关系的情况下,赵树理的切实观察和思考。并试图通过对赵树理小说写作的分析,从其所呈现出来的革命与社会主义的经验中,探寻某种对解决中国当下问题有益的精神资源。

Beginning with an analysis of Zhao Shuli' s earlier productions, this article combs out some of his approaches to the problems of peasants and intellectuals in his novels. From the angle of 'typical descriptions of typical characters' , the article also presents the writer' s contemplation of and his reflections on the problems which emerged when dominant ideologies conflicted with peasants' consciousness. Furthermore, through analyses of his writings, the article attempts to search for some spiritual resources that can be conducive to resolving contemporary problems of China in the experience of revolution and socialism presented in Zhao Shuli' s novels.
