上海近代出版业在自身结构转型的同时,又与都市进行着互动并起着整合作用,随着上海的全国出版中心地位的形成,出版业与都市的互动及其整合作用愈加彰显。本文通过对都市化进程中发展起来的近代上海出版业对都市人口的吸纳与整合作用进行分析,阐明出版业与都市发展的互动关系。

Modern publishing industry in Shanghai is interacting and integrating itself with the metropolis while carrying out transformation of its own structure. Along with the establishment of its position as a key national publishing center, it is becoming increasingly obvious that modern publishing industry in Shanghai is actively interacting and dynamically integrating with the metropolis. This paper throws light on the interactive relationship between the publishing industry in Shanghai and the metropolitan development by analyzing the function of absorption and integration of urban population by the modern publishing industry in Shanghai , which has been developed in the course of building Shanghai into a metropolitan city.
