The Shadow Cast by Science and Technology on Human Beings

一部人类的文明史包含一部人类安全发展的辛酸史。科学技术创造了辉煌的人类文明,但科学技术对人类自身安全投下的巨大“影子”令世人惊讶。如再不把科学技术的发展限定在有利于人类、有利于改善人类与大自然相互关系的轨道上,那么将进一步加剧对人这一“类存在物”的伤害。

The history of human civilization is a miserable history of man' s security development. Science and technology has created glorious human civilization. But it also casts on human' s safety a huge shadow that astounds the world. If we don't restrict it to the track on which it does good to human and to improving his relationship with nature, it will further aggravate its harm to the human beings.
